A friend of mine had the best description of her little girl that I've ever heard. "I knew Brooke was a gift from God when I was pregnant with her, and when she was born I asked Him why He gave me such a big gift? I felt afraid and scared about what was going to happen and realized God made her in the secret place. How humbling to know that He trusted me with that sweet little girl."
I asked Webster how he defined special needs. "The individual requirements of a person with a disadvantaged background or a mental, emotional, or physical disability or a high risk of developing one."
I pondered those words probably more than I should've,
but then it hit me.
We're the ones with special needs.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
